Returns and Refunds

The short version

• Your title, certificate and dedication: refunded in full, for 30 days, always. That is everything delivered digitally, whatever size dedication you chose. Change your mind for any reason and all of it comes back.
• A printed piece we have not shipped yet: refunded in full too. Tell us before it leaves and the whole order is refunded, printing included.
• Once a printed piece has shipped, the printing is not refundable. It carries your name, so it cannot go to anyone else. Everything else on the order is still refunded in full.
• If a printed piece arrives damaged, wrong or not as described, that is ours to fix. Not a refund question at all: send a photograph and we reprint and reship free, or refund it in full, whichever you prefer.

Your title and dedication, refunded in full for 30 days

The title, the certificate and the dedication are the heart of what you buy, they arrive digitally, and they are covered with no conditions attached. Write to hello@casadopadrao.com within 30 days of your order and you get all of it back, including whatever you paid for a larger dedication. No restocking fee, no handling fee, no reason required. There is nothing to send back and you may keep the PDF.

If what you actually want is it put right, a misspelled name, a certificate that never arrived, anything not as described, say so and we will reissue a corrected one free. That does not count against your 30 days.

A printed piece

It is made to order with your name on it, so there is one line, and the line is the moment we ship.

• Before it ships: refunded in full. Email us and we cancel it and refund everything, printing included. We will always tell you plainly whether your order has gone out, and we email you the moment it does.
• After it ships, and it arrived as it should: the printing is not refundable. It is personalized and cannot be resold. Your title, certificate and dedication stay refundable in full for the rest of the 30 days.
• Damaged, incorrect or not as described: fixed either way. Send a photograph within 30 days of delivery and we reprint and reship free, or refund it in full, whichever you would rather. Nothing needs to come back to us and we do not argue about it.

None of this takes away a right the law where you live already gives you.

How to ask

1. Email hello@casadopadrao.com from the address you used at checkout.
2. Include your order number, which looks like CP-40318. It is on your certificate and in your confirmation email.
3. Say whether you want the refund or a corrected certificate. If a printed piece arrived in poor shape, attach a photograph.

We answer every message, usually within one business day, and a person reads it.

Gift orders

Gifts get the same 30 days on the same terms. Either the buyer or the recipient can write to us, as long as we have the order number.

How refunds are paid

Back to your original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. We take nothing out of them: no restocking fee, no handling fee, no admin charge.

Before you call your bank

Please write to us first. A chargeback takes weeks, costs us a fee whatever the outcome, and cannot do anything for you that this policy does not already do faster. If we have got something wrong we will fix it or refund it, and we would rather do that than argue with a card network about it.
