No. Portugal has been a republic since 1910, and noble privilege went with the monarchy. This is a commemorative title and a souvenir dedication, not a rank, and it carries no legal standing or rights of any kind. What it does carry is a rather good story and a certificate worth framing.
Because it is what the navigators were actually called. The style begins with Dom Henrique, third son of King João I, remembered in English as Henry the Navigator and in Portuguese simply as o Infante, the prince. He barely sailed anywhere himself. What he did was sit at the southwestern corner of Europe and keep sending ships past the point everyone agreed was the end of the world, year after year, until it turned out not to be. The men who went out under him were addressed exactly as he was: Dom Vasco, Dom Francisco. That is the style you are taking.
The blue and white tile that covers half of Portugal: church fronts, railway stations, ordinary houses. The name comes from Arabic az-zulayj, polished stone, and has nothing to do with azul. It is where the blue on your certificate comes from, and the reason this whole house is set in that color. We do not ship a tile today. If we ever do, it will be because we found a workshop worth naming, and we will say who they are.
A stone pillar carrying the arms of Portugal and a name. When a ship reached a coast no one at home had drawn, the crew set one up and left it standing. Several are still where they were planted, five hundred years later. This house is named after them, and your certificate is drawn in the same spirit: a name, set down, left standing.
No. The plot is symbolic, a souvenir dedication rather than a transfer of property, and no deed changes hands. The place named on the certificate says where the dedication is recorded, not what you own. You are not buying Portuguese real estate.

A printed piece is refunded in full too if you tell us before we ship it; once it has shipped it carries your name and cannot be resold, though if it arrives damaged or wrong we will reprint it free or refund it.
